Greater Manchester Police guilty of death of unarmed man

A public inquiry has criticised senior officers after Anthony Grainger was killed in a pre-planned operation in 2012.

The Crown Prosecution Service will now look into the case.

The report claims that senior officers acted with arrogance.

Greater Manchester Police says it offers "condolences to Anthony Grainger’s family and to his loved ones."

Mr Grainger was killed in a pre-planned operation in Cheshire- targetting gang-related crime.
