Jamie first decided he wanted to work in radio when he heard a breakfast show one morning before school. Later he would read the news for that presenter (but not before setting up Bedroom FM first!) After working for his home station in Wakefield straight out of college, he spent nearly ten years at Real Radio in Yorkshire. In that time he presented a phone in with the then PM Gordon Brown, anchored bulletins on location and was the breakfast editor for nearly five years. A Sony Award winner, he also coordinated the Real Academy - a media school run by the radio station each year. He then moved to Sky Sports News Radio where he produced breakfast and presented the mid morning show. He's also read bulletins for Global and BBC stations in his career.
Away from work he's either running, at Bramall Lane watching Sheffield United or in his favourite bar in Mallorca.
