ENGLAND HANDED FAVOURABLE WORLD CUP DRAW

ENGLAND WILL TAKE ON BELGIUM, PANAMA AND TUNISIA IN GROUP G.

 

The draw sees Gareth Southgate's side facing one of the favourites for the competition in Belgium, who are managed by former Everton boss Roberto Martinez.

 

They though take on Panama and Tunisia two sides they will be pleased to be facing, with the draw potentially being much tougher for the Three Lions.

 

Group B will see one of the standout ties as Portugal will face Spain.

 

Elsewhere hosts Russia are in Group A alongside Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Uruguay.

 

France, Australia, Peru and Denmark make up Group C, Group D sees Argentina, Iceland, Croatia and Nigeria.

 

Brazil, Switzerland, Costa Rica and Serbia make up Group E, with defending champions Germany in Group F with Mexico, Sweden and Korea.

 

Poland, Senegal, Colombia and Japan were placed in the final Group H.
