Sterling defends gun tattoo

The 23 year old footballer says its a tribute to late father

England Footballer Raheem Sterling has defended a new gun tattoo on his right leg.

The image of a M16 assault rifle has drawn criticism on Twitter and by anti-gun campaigners.

23 year old Sterling says he would never touch a gun and it's a tribute to his late father who was shot and killed when Raheem was a boy.

He also added that he shoots from his right leg when he scores and the tattoo was in reference to that.
