MAN SHOT BY DUTCH POLICE AT AIRPORT
A MAN WIELDING A KNIFE WAS SHOT BY MILITARY POLICE ON FRIDAY AT AMSTERDAM’S SCHIPHOL AIRPORT, PROMPTING AUTHORITIES TO CLEAR THE BUILDING.
The incident took place earlier this afternoon. There were no reports of other injuries.
The forces stated that added officers had overpowered and arrested the suspect, and he is now in custody.
On social media the force Tweeted.
“A man at Schiphol was shot by the military police after threatening with a knife. Situation safe."
