Weather warnings across the UK for snow and ice
Hundreds of motorists spend the night stuck in their cars in Scotland because of snow
The Met office has issued a series of warnings for the UK - with more snow expected to fall. Especially in Scotland and Northern Ireland where 'Amber' Warnings are in place.
Police have confirmed motorists in parts of Scotland had to spend the night in their vehicles.
Gritting teams struggled to reach them because of jack-knifed lorries.
Warnings across England and Wales are for snow, ice and winds - although they're yellow which means be aware. The warnings are expected to remain in place until tomorrow.
