Rudd rubbishes police numbers claim

The Home Secretary says a fall in police numbers is not to blame for the recent spate of violent crimes in London.

In an interview with the Sunday Telegraph Amber Rudd said the evidence didn't back up that reduced resources were to blame.

 

Stop and search has been stepped up on the streets of London in a bid to prevent more gun and knife crimes.
