Operations for snorers and breast reductions to be axed

NHS England say the procedures are useless

Operations deemed ineffective, such as breast reductions and removal of skin lesions could soon be stopped on the NHS.

Proposals on 17 procedures which they say have more risks than benefits would no longer be offered in a bid to save the health service £200m per year.

NHS England say they would instead offer alternative help such as diet changes and injections to treat various conditions.
