May to outline NHS funding plans

The PM will announce her 10 year programme today.

Ahead of Teresa May's speech today on the £20bn she's pledging annually for the NHS by 2023, there are calls for the PM to say exactly where the money is coming from.

The government made the announcement yesterday that the health service in England would receive the boost- saying the funds would mostly come from the money we'll no longer need to spend on the EU.

 

But critics say we may have to foot the bill with stealth taxes.
