Man charged over double Solihull murder

Janbaz Tarin has been charged with the murder of a mother and daughter who were fatally stabbed in Solihull in the early hours of Bank Holiday Monday.

Tarin, aged 21 of Stonebridge Crescent, Kingshurst was sought by officers in connection with the murders and detained in Sparkhill on Thursday evening.

He will appear at Birmingham Magistrates court on Saturday to face charges for the murder of 22-year-old Raneem Oudeh and 49-year-old Khaola Saleem.

A forensic post mortem examination concluded that Raneem and her mother died from multiple stab wounds.
