Man arrested after footballer's death
A 21-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a footballer died following an assault in Retford town centre.
Nottinghamshire Police said a murder inquiry was launched after 25-year-old Matlock Town player Jordan Sinnott died on Saturday evening.
The 21-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder on Sunday.
A 27-year old man who was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm shortly after the incident remains in police custody, the force said.
