A number of MPs are calling on the Human Rights watchdog to investigate a Home Office policy.
David Lammy, the MP for Tottenham, together with 86 other MP's, are calling for the Equalities and Human Rights Commission to look into the issue of discrimination on the basis of race, in breach of current legislation.
The Home Office have said that they have commissions a "lessons learned" review into this.
