Helicopter crashes on top of Manhattan skyscraper
The incident took place around 2pm local time
A helicopter has made a crash landing on the roof of a Manhattan Skyscraper.
Emergency services were called to the scene at the AXA Equitable Center at 787 Seventh Avenue.
Weather conditions were said to be wet with low cloud cover.
Governor Andrew Cuomo told reporters that it had appeared that the helicopter had attempted an emergency landing and that no-one within the building was injured.
The Fire Department of New York have tweeted saying that they believe that one person from the helicopter has died.
