Further violence feared on the Gaza border

It's comes are reports that 58 Palestinian protesters were killed yesterday by Israeli troops

Fears are growing that another day of violence in Israel may be brewing after Israeli forces shot dead Palestinian protesters yesterday following their campaigns against the US embassy being moved from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.

Palestinian officals say 58 protesters were killed and 2,700 people injured on the Gaza border with live fire, tear gas and other means used.

 

The Israeli military said it was responding to violence from the protesters to defend their countries border

It comes on the Palestinian day of Nakba, an annual event that remembers the displacement of Palestinians in 1948
