Fuel prices dip in June

It follows a four-month run of increases

Figures released by RAC Fuel Watch show that the price of a litre of petrol and diesel have fallen for the first time in four months.

The average price of a litre of unleaded petrol has fallen to 127.62 pence - a fall of 3.05 pence.  The greatest falls are in Wales, Scotland and the North East.

Diesel prices have fallen even further with an average reduction of 4.61 pence per litre to an average of 130.90 pence per litre.  Wales and the North East saw falls of over 5 pence per litre on average.

Crude oil prices hover around $63 dollars per barrel.
