Turgid Boston stalemate leaves the Three Lions top of Group L

England have drawn 0-0 with Ghana in their World Cup Group L match in Foxborough.

Marc Guehi and Djed Spence came into England’s starting XI for their second World Cup match against Ghana in Boston.

Guehi replaced John Stones in central defence and Spence came in at left-back for Nico O’Reilly as Thomas Tuchel made two changes from the side he named for Group L’s opener against Croatia last Wednesday.

Harry Kane missed a gilt-edged chance to put the Three Lions ahead when he shot over the bar immediately after Nico O'Reilly's header had hit the bar.
