Bank of England keep interest rates steady

They remain at 0.75%

The Bank of England has kept interest rates at 0.75 per cent, despite the US Federal Reserve dropping their rates last night.

The Fed reduced its main interest rate by a quarter of a percentage point  and the European Central Bank is expected to take similar action next month, as both battle a slowdown driven by the U.S.-China trade conflict.

Rates have remained steady since August 2018.
