Earthquake hits central Phillipines

The quake measured 6.3 maginitude

The epicentre of the quake struck 37 miles north-west of Manila at a depth of 25 miles.

Initially the United States Geological Society rated the quake as 6.4 before downgrading it.

Buildings were evacuated but there are no reports of casualties.
