Qatar's 2022 World Cup will not be expanded to 48 teams, that's according to a statement from FIFA
FIFA said that a proposal that had been discussed to expand the tournament to 48 teams from 32 will not be proposed at an upcoming congress in June.
The World Cup will be taking place in November and December 2022
