Heathrow looks set for third runway

Senior Ministers are meeting this morning to make a final agreement

A new Heathrow runway could be approved today after almost a decade of debate.

The third runway faces strong opposition with campaigners saying the 700 extra planes a day would cause too much noise pollution in the area.

Foreign Sectretary Boris Johnson is one of it's critics.

The meeting today, chaired by Theresa May, is expected that MP's will come to a final decision on the plans.

The meeting, thought to be chaired by Theresa May will be put before senior ministers for a decision.
