Large support for bottle and cans plan
A survey conducted by the Campaign to Protect Rural England (CPRE) finds that 72% of people support the call for deposits on drinks cans and bottles.
The initiative, which aims to encourage people to recycle, is already a scheme used successfully in countries such as Germany, and the CPRE calls on the new Environment Secretary Theresa Villiers to follow Michael Gove's policy.
