Concerns over VW handling of seatbelt issue

Research by the consumer group Which? reveals that VW Group has sold an estimated 55,000 additional cars with a potentially lethal fault.

It's since it was made aware of the problem six months ago.

VW launched an 'informal recall' after it was discovered in May that the rear-left seat belts in Volkswagen Polo, Seat Ibiza and Seat Arona were at risk of coming undone, though Which? says that the process has been flawed and that some 1,500 unsafe cars may be on the road for years to come.
