Cars under threat from keyless thefts

A research from the consumer watchdog Which? finds that most of the UK's best-selling cars are susceptible to keyless theft.

The release says that four of the UK's five top selling cars (the Ford Fiesta, VW Golf, Nissan Qashqai and Ford Focus) are susceptible to keyless theft, where thieves use 'relay' boxes to manipulate the signal produced by the car's security fob.

The test of 237 keyless cars found that all but three are susceptible to relay attacks, with only the Land Rover Discovery, Range Rover, and 2018 Jaguar i-pace being protected.
