Peter is one of our Broadcast Journalists working on the planning desk and often covering bulletins on-air.

He joined Radio News Hub as a freelancer in November 2020 and became a permanent member of the team in June 2021, making the switch from working in a bookshop, a role he did after leaving University.

One of Peter's most satisfying day's on-air was covering the 20th anniversary of the September 11th attacks, the same day British tennis player Emma Raducanu made history of her own, winning the U.S. Open. He was also part of the Radio News Hub team covering the death and funeral of the Duke of Edinburgh.

Away from work Peter enjoys Gaming, Music and is a Sheffield United fan.

He also tells us he has a talent in common with Mr Bean, we'll wait for the Christmas party to find out what that is!
